And finally #7 On the series of 7 abstract paintings that follow Jackson Pollock's technique. On this painting I kind of did what i did with #2 but backwards, so i started with the solid red to set up the tone of the painting, then with purple, gold, and platinum paint, I "Jackson Pollock-ed" it. Now instead of leaving it, since i still had a lot of white space, i used a brush to mix all the paint that was around the red which gave it a nice flowing tone to the negative part of the painting. And at the very end i went back with black paint and did all the little "root-like" figures. Obviously it is called "Rising roots" because of the multiple little root like painting of it, but it is also called that, because by the time i reached #7 i felt my creativity rising again.
