I made a piggy bank! The whole piece was made with coils, first i did the body carving out the vest, then i worked the head from there. I attached the ears, feet, hands and tie once everything else was done. I used one coat of transpearl and two coats of emerald. I used green because i think is a good way to represent money and being greedy. For the vest i used both navy and sapphire, and for the eyes and tie i used black glaze. Since its a piggy bank i made a hole on his butt so I'm able to take the money out, because i don't want to end up having to break him. I also put a cork so the money wouldn't just fall out. I also made a tail with wire, making a "$" on the back.

Greed & Gluttony (Piggy Bank)
