Talking without brain.
On the left side image there is a really shy person that can listen and is smart, and on the right side a more extrovert person that can just talk and talk, but this person just has a nut as a brain.
Interesting concept. I appreciate that this isn't a typical opposite or one word versus another, but rather they are opposite concepts. The lack of mouth on the left is an effective way to communicate no talking but it doesn't necessarily communicate god listening, as you stated. Perhaps if you had exaggerated the ears. As for the head on the right, drawing the nut or pea is a great way to illustrate your idea, but the vertical mouths seem a bit strange. Did you think about making them smaller but horizontal in the same place and having some open and some closed? That might have indicated "talking" a bit more. Was there a reason for drawing them vertically?
