Scale House

This was a very complicated project to build, it's a scale house with 3 sustainable elements which are: wind mills, water mills and solar panels. On the sides, there is a forest with a creek in between the house and the forest. What really brings this project alive is the landscape with the texture of the creek and real plants as the forest. Imagine that there are windows (which are pending). Would you like to live there?

  1. Once again, what was the inspiration for this piece? Was it an assignment to create a green architectural model, or it is just something that is of interest to you? It's great to see that you enjoy working in three dimensions. The piece itself is very modern and minimal. Have you thought about creating other pieces like this?

  2. This was another school project where the inspiration was to create a dream home with some sustainable elements. Unfortunately it took me to much time to build something that could stand by it one and had the sustainable elements, I also need it to make a landscape. I would really like to create another model more efficient that had windows and make it more accurate. But it would take me a little more time.

  3. Great idea! You could also think about making a piece that was less realistic and more abstract. So perhaps thinking about creating a sculpture, rather than a model to scale. Just let your imagination go wild and create something that may not be inhabitable but could pique curiosity. You could think about creating the landscape along with the structure so that it was more incorporated into the piece rather than an after thought.
